The decision this tool supports
Z tables may report area from zero rather than cumulative area, causing a correct lookup to be interpreted with the wrong tail. This page keeps the decision bounded to percentile / left-tail probability and the supporting outputs shown beside it. Z-Score Percentile does not import an account, infer a market rate, or silently substitute an industry average.
Inputs and units
The Z-Score Percentile calculation uses Z-score. Keep all money values in one currency and all time, distance, mass, energy or volume entries in the unit printed beside the field. Mixing Z-Score Percentile scopes can produce a plausible number with the wrong meaning.

Formula and worked check
Percentile is Φ(z), evaluated with a standard error-function approximation; upper tail = 1−Φ(z), and two-sided tail = 2×min(Φ, 1−Φ). z = 1.96 returns about the 97.5th percentile, 2.5% upper tail and 5.0% two-sided tail; z = 0 returns 50%, 50% and 100%. The Z-Score Percentile default is an executable known-answer case, not a benchmark or recommendation. Change one input and verify that the direction of percentile / left-tail probability still matches the stated relationship.
How to interpret the result
Choose the probability that matches the question; a percentile is not automatically a p-value, and a two-sided tail is not a one-sided threshold. The additional Z-Score Percentile outputs expose the denominator, comparison, capacity or reverse value needed to audit the primary result instead of presenting one unexplained number.

Save the Z-Score Percentile input values and date with any material decision. A later Z-Score Percentile rerun is reproducible only when the same assumptions and units are available.

Z-Score Percentile is an estimate and cannot replace a contract, local code, licensed professional, calibrated measurement, lender statement or platform report where one governs the decision.
