How to Use This Tool
A timestamp link removes a tiny but real piece of friction: the recipient does not have to scrub through the video or remember “go to two minutes thirty.” Paste a standard watch URL, a youtu.be link, an embed URL or a Shorts URL, then enter the moment as raw seconds, MM:SS or HH:MM:SS.
Why the link stores seconds
YouTube's share interface accepts a human time such as 2:30, while the generated link commonly carries the equivalent start value in seconds. This tool normalizes the time before adding it to a clean URL. Existing playlist and campaign parameters are deliberately removed so an accidental queue or tracking tag is not forwarded.
Use it for evidence, not only entertainment
Timestamp links are useful in sponsorship approvals, client reviews, tutorials, bug reports and source citations. They let a reviewer open the evidence directly. The link does not grant access: a private, deleted, age-restricted or region-blocked video still follows YouTube's own access rules.
