The decision this tool supports
A quote assembled by hand can apply discount to shipping, omit quantity or leave the buyer unable to tell how long the price is intended to stand. This page keeps the decision bounded to quoted total before tax and the supporting outputs shown beside it. Wholesale Quote does not import an account, infer a market rate, or silently substitute an industry average.
Inputs and units
The Wholesale Quote calculation uses Quoted quantity, List unit price, Trade discount, Shipping and handling, Quote validity. Keep all money values in one currency and all time, distance, mass, energy or volume entries in the unit printed beside the field. Mixing Wholesale Quote scopes can produce a plausible number with the wrong meaning.

- Shipping and handling is entered in currency.
- Quote validity is entered in days.
Formula and worked check
Merchandise subtotal = quantity × list unit price; discount subtracts from merchandise; shipping is then added; tax is explicitly excluded. Five hundred units at $18 less 12% plus $450 shipping produce a $8,370 quote before tax, valid for the entered 30 days. The Wholesale Quote default is an executable known-answer case, not a benchmark or recommendation. Change one input and verify that the direction of quoted total before tax still matches the stated relationship.
How to interpret the result
Copy the visible components into an approved business document with seller, buyer, currency, delivery terms, tax and issue date. The additional Wholesale Quote outputs expose the denominator, comparison, capacity or reverse value needed to audit the primary result instead of presenting one unexplained number.

Save the Wholesale Quote input values and date with any material decision. A later Wholesale Quote rerun is reproducible only when the same assumptions and units are available.

Wholesale Quote is an estimate and cannot replace a contract, local code, licensed professional, calibrated measurement, lender statement or platform report where one governs the decision.
