20 Celsius = 68 Fahrenheit

Absolute scale conversion includes a zero-point offset.

Same temperature in every scale

Celsius (°C)20
Fahrenheit (°F)68
Kelvin (K)293.15
Rankine (°R)527.67
Quick references

Rankine uses the Fahrenheit-sized degree with an absolute-zero origin. Reference points are approximate and assume standard atmospheric pressure for water’s boiling point.

Absolute values and differences are different

Absolute temperatures include the scale’s zero point, so Celsius to Fahrenheit adds 32°. A temperature difference measures only the size of a change, so a difference of 1 °C equals 1 K or 1.8 °F. Values below 0 K are flagged as physically impossible absolute temperatures.
